Very excited to post a teaser for another local film coming out for release soon.  It’s called How To Become A Criminal Mastermind and it’s a crime comedy directed by Henry Scriven.  You can follow the film on Facebook and a link to their website is below.

In debt and out of options, FREDDIE hires a professional crime coach, BAINBRIDGE, to train him in the art of being a criminal.

90 Second Comedy Grant

90 Second Comedy Shorts Grant

First Light has recently become a YouTube partner and to celebrate we are launching a 90 Second Comedy Shorts round.

Organisations can apply for up to £20,000 to make between 3-6 comedy shorts up to 90 seconds each in duration.

Pilot Grant

Organisations can apply for up to £5,000 to make 1 short film up to 3 minutes in duration.

Studio Grant

Organisations can apply for up to £30,000 to make between 2-4 short films up to 3 minutes in duration.

THE ONLINE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS 2PM ON 12 OCTOBER 2011.

Please also be aware that we are accepting a maximum number of 80 applications for the Studio and Pilot grants combined, and 50 for the 90 Seconds Comedy Shorts grant. Should we reach the maximum before the 12th October, we will be unable to consider your application. There is a counter system to let you know how many have been submitted so far.
